Ultra-high-net-worth individuals have long dominated the world of luxury collectibles—from Rolex watches to rare whisky and classic art. But Austrian startup FinSlice is rewriting this narrative entirely. Finance is transforming before our eyes.
Co-founder Clemens recently shared his vision on YourVision.blog, explaining how their platform empowers anyone to own fractional shares of luxury assets starting from just €10. “Financial markets discriminate,” Clemens declared. “Wealth determines your investment opportunities.”
FinSlice bundles high-value assets into tradeable categories—creating ETFs for luxury goods. Art delivers 14% annual returns over 30 years, yet high entry costs and insider knowledge requirements exclude most investors.
What distinguishes FinSlice? Liquidity and low fees. While competitors charge up to 8% transaction fees and lock investments for years, FinSlice charges just 1.5% fees and enables 24/7 trading through their centralized order book system.
The platform merges traditional finance principles with modern accessibility, employing cryptographic transaction linking for transparency while sidestepping blockchain complexity. Their upcoming trading challenge rewards top performers with €500-200 prizes using fictional money.
As inflation accelerates, tangible assets deliver natural protection. FinSlice drives one mission: democratizing alternative investments for everyone, regardless of wealth or background—revolutionizing finance for the digital age.
About Clemens
Clemens Kräter is a young Austrian entrepreneur who has always been driven by a passion for turning ideas into tangible projects. At just 18 years old, while still attending a vocational high school focused on business (HAK Steyr), he founded his first startup, Frumotion. The concept behind Frumotion was to make healthy nutrition more accessible by offering instant smoothies made from freeze-dried fruits. The products were designed to be natural, convenient, and free from artificial additives. Although the startup ultimately didn’t succeed, the experience was invaluable. Clemens learned firsthand about product development, brand building, and the challenges that come with launching and growing a business. The ups and downs of this early venture shaped his entrepreneurial mindset and resilience.
Following the closure of Frumotion, Clemens moved into the advertising industry. Having always had a strong interest in marketing, he chose to focus on sales within this field. This role gave him practical experience in understanding how products are brought to market and how to connect with customers effectively. Through working closely with sales strategies, client relations, and market positioning, he developed a deeper appreciation for how marketing and sales go hand in hand to create success.
Alongside his professional growth, Clemens maintained a long-standing curiosity about finance, investing, and emerging technologies. This growing fascination inspired him to combine his entrepreneurial experience with his interest in financial innovation. As a result, he began working on his next big project, Finslice.
What is FinSlice
Finslice is a fintech startup based in Linz, Austria. The platform’s mission is to democratize access to alternative investments by enabling users to invest in tangible real-world assets such as luxury watches, fine art, rare whisky, and classic cars. Traditionally, these types of investments have been reserved for wealthy individuals or institutional investors, but Finslice breaks down these barriers by offering fractional ownership starting with amounts as low as a few euros. And that means: Future Finance Vision Change!
The way Finslice works is simple yet powerful. Carefully curated bundles of valuable physical assets are tokenized and divided into small shares, similar to ETFs but backed by real collectibles. Investors can buy, sell, and trade these shares 24/7 on a secure digital platform, enjoying liquidity and transparency that are often missing in traditional alternative asset markets.
Finslice focuses on well-known and trusted brands and asset categories to reduce risk and build investor confidence. Every underlying asset is securely stored, fully insured, and professionally managed to ensure safety and authenticity.
The platform also charges transparent, fair transaction fees to keep the service accessible and sustainable. With a user-friendly interface and a strong commitment to compliance under Austrian regulations, Finslice aims to bring the world of alternative investments into the digital age, opening exciting opportunities for everyday investors.
